Hello! It has been a month since we met(?) My study life has started and it's already my third week in Taiwan! Oh wait, it's March already?! Wow, it's like we've only been celebrating New Year yesterday...
Well, I believe that you already know about my style of blogging: more photos but less talk! So let's begin the story!
| It's my first time watching the sunrise on a plane! And look at the sky full of clouds, so mesmerizing... |
| It was raining when we arrived at Taoyuan International Airport, and the weather's freaking cold, even until now... |
| if you're wondering how cold the weather is, here's my friend's 风油 which is frozen! |
Without further ado, I'm gonna introduce the environment of my university to you.
| can you see how strong the wind was? We were freezing up there! |
| one of my favourite photos taken in Taiwan ;) |
It's like a big garden, the flowers are pretty, the air is fresh and the views are green, good for our eyes hahaha. But most of the trees are bold (due to the winter?), I promise to post photos of the trees full of leaves for the next chapter...
| pretty dandelion! |
| the precious husky in the university, it was smiling at me! I'm not a fan of dogs but isn't it cute :3 |
The streets of Taiwan are really long, full of shops, food stalls and restaurants, you would've no chance to worry about food!
We went to Taipei last Saturday. It's quite near from the university, only an hour of distance by bus. We were too late to arrive so we only visited Taipei zoo and a night market, and we weren't able to walk the entire zoo.
The quality of my photos taken in the zoo are bad, so I won't post a lot of photos about it. Anyway, the main point we went there was to see the three pandas! They're extremely adorable I even took videos of them, and also cute penguins!
| The poop designs outside the toilet hahaha. |
| 团团, 圆圆 & 圆仔! |
| 排队走回家 |
Last but not least, the following photos will be the food I had here. Some are nice but some made me sad because I'll miss Penang food even more... Send me Hokkien Mee, White Curry Mee, Koay Teow Th'ng, Tomyam etc!
I'm missing spicy food although I'm not good at eating them but Taiwan food is really lacking of chilly and spicy taste, even the Mc Donalds and KFC don't provide chilly sauce!
| tbh bubble milk tea in Malaysia tastes better... |
| 鸡蛋糕! This was really good! |
| Taiwanese put a lot of effort in food packaging because they're really nice! Not only these two, there are many prettier ones, I guess that's how they attract customers hahaha very impressive. |
| super yummy 饭团 as breakfast is perfection! |
| dessert at night |
| this 甜不辣 is addictive too! |
| egg tarts sold in KFC hahaha I know you don't have these in Malaysia but you definitely won't wanna miss 'em out, so finger lickin' gooood. |
| stinky tofu... ahem... no comment... well it tastes like normal tofu (to me) when you put it into your mouth but I'm sure you won't wanna smell it before that... |
| A lunch treat from my class teacher during class meeting! Tasty 锅贴 accompanying me while completing my Japanese class homework. And yeah, I took Japanese as my extra class, unbelievable huh? |
That's all for now! See you in my Chapter 2! Adieu!
