Life in Taiwan (Chapter 5)

peace!

Life in Taiwan (Chapter 4)

Hello!
Was it a surprise to see me with a new entry update after such long hiatus? Hahah.
Just because I wanna 'record' my feelings after (or during) SMTOWN Concert in Taiwan.
Yeah, you heard me right, SMTOWN came to Taiwan and the concert was held in freakin' Hsinchu which is the place I live in!
AND I ACTUALLY ATTENDED THE CONCERT.

Okay this entry doesn't really represent my 4th chapter of life in Taiwan and it's definitely dedicated to the concert hahah but please don't expect any photos (yet?) because I haven't filter and send them into my hard disk.
anyway I realised that I've been skipping a lot of my so-called interesting story in Taiwan so fear not because I'll soon update my blog with lots of entries about how I enjoyed life in Taiwan!
oops jealousy alert umm but I'm also jealous of everyone in Penang because you guys get to eat the forever delicious Penang food and for those overseas I bet they're having a far better life than mine lol.

Okay enough nonsense let's get into the topic.

First of all I have to say that the concert tickets were freakin' expensive so I never intended to attend until my friend told me that people who wants to sell their extra tickets might be selling them with a super lower price when there's no one who buys it until the concert started.
And the main purpose of going to the stadium was because that I got a job as a stall helper or whatever you call it and yeah I was in-charged of selling the merchandises, non-official of course :/
大家都是為了混一口飯吃嘛
I didn't put much hope on cheap tickets, instead I just wanna earn some pocket money through the job.
and yeah of course the atmosphere around changed my mind HAHA and I started feeling excited yet nervous of getting a ticket for myself.
you know how heartbreaking(?) was it to work while people enjoy collecting the slogans and photo cards from all fanclubs?
especially on an SMTOWN concert because DUHHH SO MANY IDOLS ARE COMING WHICH MEANS MORE AND MORE FANCLUBS HAVE CAME TO GIVE AWAY FREE GIFTS OBVIOUSLY.

So the concert started.
The first thing I did after receiving my salary was to find a person who wants to sell their ticket.
I first found a Korean, and she kinda felt happy when she finds out that I understand Korean HEHEH
I felt like "wow I'm finally speaking Korean to a Korean after learning Korean for years" LOL
okay the point was that she told me she bought the ticket with a super high price at MORE THAN NT$10000!
ARE YOU CRAZY THE MOST EXPENSIVE TICKET OF THE CONCERT COSTS ONLY NT$5800 WHICH IS THE ROCKPIT TICKET.
and she attempted to sell at NT$7000 but apparently I don't have so much cash with me and that's totally out of my budget.
after wandering around while Red Velvet was performing, I met a Japanese who wants to sell her ticket but unfortunately I don't speak Japanese.
she wanted to sell with the original price of NT$5800 but I told her that NT$2000 was all I have, which is true.
she rejected, but after asking a few person, she came back to me and the deal is ON.
MUAHAHAHA.
I bought a NT$5800 ticket with NT$2000!
my friend said I was really lucky because she bought a ticket which originally costed NT$4000 with the same price, oops.
but yeah we were at different zones so we can't fangirl together D:

Anyway I finally rushed into the stadium after Red Velvet's performance and it was Zhang Li Yin's turn.
well I won't mention much about the performance sequences and stuff because I don't remember them hahah.
but first, THE STADIUM WAS HELLA BIG.
you know how small Stadium Merdeka was when we attended INFINITE's concert?!
it's like you can still manage to see their faces even if you seat at the last row.
but the MOST EXPENSIVE rockpit zone I'm sitting at was not enough to see their faces as clear as my experience of seeing INFINITE's.
yeah now I think you'll be managed to imagine how big the stadium and the stage are.
so can I consider the tickets as HELLA EXPENSIVE now?
and one more thing, if you think that you should attend concerts because you wanna watch their live performances,
then I suggest you NOT to attend SMTOWN concerts, unless you have cheap tickets, or better FREE,
because some of the performances are lip-synced... which kinda disappointed me...
ohh but you still can attend their solo concerts hahah.
one thing good about the concert is that normal concerts last for around 3 hours,
but due to the amount of attending idol groups, this concert lasted for 5 HOURS!
yeah different people has different opinions okay...

It's time for fangirling.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER.
I saw Zhang Li Yin, Kangta & Tasty.
I saw Red Velvet & SM Rookies.
I saw f(x) (again, this time with Krystal but without Sulli) & SNSD.
I saw EXO, SHINee & Super Junior (again XD).
I saw TVXQ & BoA.
HOLY SHIT IS MY LIFE CONSIDERED AS COMPLETE YET?
actually not.... lol.
what I was gonna say that WOW EVERYONE THAT I'VE ONLY SEEN ON SCREEN HAS APPEARED IN FRONT OF MY EYES.
ESPECIALLY SHINEE, THE REASON OF WHY I STARTED KPOP.
AND OF COURSE SUPER JUNIOR WITH HEECHUL AND KANGIN THIS TIME,
although Yesung my man is still on his military service while Sungmin & Shindong are preparing for theirs.
ohh and pretty Krystal who didn't attend the MOA concert back in 2010?
EVERY MOMENT DURING THE CONCERT WAS TOUCHING.
IT FEEL AS IF I'M DREAMING.

btw did I mention that this was the first time I brought my baby NEX-5T into a concert and took prettier photos with it? Heheh.
AND WITH A LONGER LENS BORROWED YESTERDAY.
I definitely made a great choice of bringing my camera on stand-by hahah, which means I did have the urge to attend the concert by buying cheap tickets OOOOOOPS.

As a conclusion,
the day was tiring,
but of course more fun, exciting and memorable,

It was no doubt a great day, 2015-03-21 ♥

Well, I think that's all for now!
I can't remember more about what I was gonna say at first but I think I've said most of it hahah.
I hope you enjoyed reading it despite my poor English,
and you may stay tuned for more updates because I finally decided not to abandon my blog again (although I've kinda said that for many times since long time ago XD)

Adieu! ;)

Life in Taiwan (Chapter 3)

Yo what's up?! I'm back again.
Feel kinda sorry for abandoning my blog for a month but I'm just too lazy to update it Hahaha.
I've been to lots of places in the past few weeks so I'm here to share some photos with you!
Don't worry, it won't take you too much time to finish this entry as the photos are not as many as you imagine XD

The first part of the entry is about my trip to 新北 twice, once during 春遊 held in the end of March and the next time was on last Saturday during our class trip!

In 新北, we visited 金瓜石、九份、猴硐、深坑、十分、平溪 and 箐桐。

Let the journey begins!

first destination - 金瓜石

ate two kinds of desserts as breakfast LOL

九份! 九份老街 is full of food and souvenir shops. A place worth visiting! ;D (twice......) LOL

是誠陶笛, the hometown of my 陶笛 given by Kai Jie! Teehee.

陶笛 in the shape of pipa! Aren't they pretty?

the giant 陶笛 in the shop, didn't manage to take a photo of the huge duck-shaped 陶笛 though :'(

Cello-shaped! Another favourite of mine!

the beautiful sceneries of sea and mountains around the place

九份 is famous with taro balls(芋圓),you won't wanna miss them! This is from 阿柑姨, which is the most famous taro balls selling shop of what I've heard, located at the end of 九份老街 (never be lazy to reach the end of the street! :P)

花生捲+冰淇淋! I was addicted to this and I was like "OMG it's this again" when I found people selling this at other places cuz I'm a peanut and ice-cream lover(?) HAHAHA

Umm of course these are not all of the food I've taste but there are MORE that I haven't try cuz my stomach (and my wallet) couldn't afford me to eat everything I want...

The next destination is 猴硐 which is famous with cats but don't ask me why its name is related to monkey instead of cat LMAO. We just kinda pass by cuz I'm not really a big fan of cats so I didn't reach the place where cats gather.

深坑老街 is famous with stinky tofu! The whole street is full of the scent of 臭豆腐 which is really OMG but they're nice to eat! I'm not even kidding hahaha. Stinky tofu lovers must not miss this place when you visit Taiwan! And basically almost all the food found over there are made of tofu (P/S: NOT stinky tofu, I mean tofu, because the place is famous with them HAHA)
This place is heaven with lots of yummy food! (Or maybe I shall say almost every places with the name of “老街” is full of yummy food) Too bad I didn't manage to take photos of them before I send them into my stomach *oops* But here's one which is my favourite of the street! Yes this ice-cream is really high AND DELICIOUS ohh I'm starting to miss it already! They have matcha flavour too :)

It's not the end of the journey of visiting old streets! As a food lover, walking along these old streets and search for food is better than shopping in malls full of branded stuffs (such as 101.. ahem...)
Ohh, forgot to mention that I was too hungry to spend the few seconds to take photos off food before eating them, but don't worry, the scenery around 十分、平溪&箐桐 is beautiful :P

Raining again, which means weather temperature is dropping again...

weird but pretty looking flowers hehe kinda rare?

and people usually release their 天燈 by standing at the railways, but no fears cuz there are people who will remind you to leave the railway when there are trains coming through!

railway, hanging bridge and waterfall in a picture!
there are many hanging bridges around the area too, fun to walk haha XD

平溪

Okay it's the end of our trip to old streets!

We've come to the second part of the entry, which is about my cycling day at 南寮-十七公里海岸線。
Yes, as the name says, 17KM. And we have to travel twice (go and back), so we've successfully cycled 34KM!

We did it! Mission accomplished!

P/S: I like taking pictures of road signs(?) HAHAH

Feels good to enjoy the sea breeze :D

Before April ends, I've managed to relax myself after mid-term exam by visiting Taipei while meeting Wan Wan and I've managed to get her autographs on my book and phone cover! Not to mention that we've chatted a while and took a photo together :P

Couldn't resist to raise my head up and look at the magnificently high Taipei 101 Tower~
Here are some photos of it I've taken from different angels LOL

...but this one is my favourite of all...

Hooray *claps* we've come to the end of the entry!

Last week, the Anime Club of my university organised a one-week maid cafe. They serve yummy and affordable spaghetti and cakes! Applause for them :D

Tiramisu, Cheesecake and Carbonara with Bacon *omnomnom*

I'm starting to think of giving up this blog (hmmm, it's not my first experience of closing a blog either HAHA) but anyway, last but not least, here's a photo I've promised to attach (please refer to chapter one and see the before-and-after difference heheh)

Bye for now! ;)
